Awesome Is He
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." - Proverbs 9:10 (NIV)
We live in a time where chaos and confusion is the norm in society. Where values and morals don’t exist and the Truth of who God is gets lost in translation depending on who you talk to. But when we hear about God from Jesus, he always says God is good. So if God is good there must be a method to the madness right?
In current times it is so important for us to be rooted in God’s Word. Proverbs 9:10 reminds us that the fear of the Lord—the reverence, awe, and deep respect for God—is the starting point of true wisdom.
Honestly without God our society will keep declining, right and wrong are become subjective, and individual desires (FLESHLY DESIRES) will take precedence over the Truth of God. We already see this happening from the relentless pursuit of material wealth to the erosion of traditional values and the disregard for the sanctity of life.
However, when we accept God into our lives and center our existence on His principles, everything changes. Our perspectives will shift from self-centeredness to God-centeredness. We truly will start to see the world through the lens of love, compassion, and righteousness. he knowledge of the Holy One leads to true understanding—not just of academic or worldly matters but of the deeper truths that guide our souls.
Imagine a society where every decision, whether personal or collective, is guided by the fear of the Lord. It would be a society marked by justice, mercy, and integrity. As Christians, we are called to be the salt and light of the world (Matthew 5:13-16). We as believers have to embody the fear of the Lord in our actions, words, and attitudes. We must be a demonstration to others of what the transformative power of a life lived in communion with God. Let live out the testimonies of God's awesomeness, reflecting His love and wisdom in everything we do.
